Simple Device To Stop Bad Dog Behavior And Barking!
(September 10, 2019)
Kallie was one year old, and had never really been trained.

“It was a nightmare,” Lisa says. “I couldn’t train her. She wouldn’t listen.”
Kallie ripped apart the couch cushions, she barked at passersby on the street, she ripped up the carpet.
“She would bark in the middle of the night,” Lisa says. “As soon as I got her to be quiet and went back to my room, she’d start barking again. It didn’t matter how many times I punished her.”
So Lisa took Kallie to obedience school, and it seemed the problems were fixed. But within a month of returning, Kallie was back to her old ways. “I even called a few different trainers to break her of her bad habits,” Lisa says. “But nothing worked.”
The last straw came when Lisa’s daughter came over with her one-year-old granddaughter. Kallie saw the child and filled with energy, running around and barking. By accident, the dog ran into the baby, knocking her over and sending her into a screaming fit.
“That was it,” Lisa says. “I had to do something. But I didn’t want to give away my dog.”
Lisa tried one last trainer. When the trainer came over, he didn’t use any spray bottles or harsh language when Kallie misbehaved.
“He used this weird device,” Lisa says. “It looked like a flashlight. When I asked him what it was, he told me it was called the ‘BarxBuddy.’ It was so weird, it was like magic.”
When Kallie would misbehave, the trainer would simply point the device at her and push a button, and Kallie would immediately stop and back away. The trainer would then reinforce this good behavior with a treat. Within a few weeks, Kallie was acting perfectly obedient. And it stuck.
“That was months ago,” Lisa says, “and Kallie still hasn’t misbehaved once. It looks like she’s really changed for the better now, permanently.”
BarxBuddy a completely non-violent pet training device that operates on a frequency only dogs can hear. It’s kind of like a focused dog whistle.
How it works is you wait until your dog begins the behavior that you want to discourage. This could be barking at the front door, continuously barking at guests, digging a hole in the yard, tearing apart your couch cushions, or anything else that dogs do to annoy us humans.
After the dog has begun the unwanted behavior, you simply get in between the dog and what’s causing the behavior, and point the BarxBuddy at it and press and hold the button. It will immediately consume the dog’s attention, backing away from it. Then, simply release the button and make sure to give the dog some kind of reward (treat, head scratches, etc.) to reinforce the good behavior.
For extra stubborn dogs, a flashing LED light provides extra negative reinforcement, working as an auxiliary visual trainer. We were surprised to learn that it can also be used as a flashlight at night.
The BarxBuddy also works against unfriendly dogs outside of the home. If a strange dog is acting aggressively toward you or your own dog, you simply press the button to keep it away. Plus, the BarxBuddy has a loud alarm that humans can hear for emergency situations.
So we ordered one online. Two days later, it was sitting on our doorstep.

For the test, we decided to travel around to friends’ homes and see if it helped stop the unwanted behavior.
All in all, we tested 15 dogs, including the following breeds:
- German Shepherd
- Labrador Retriever
- Gold Retriever
- Beagle
- Boxer
- Husky
- Weiner Dog
- Bulldog
- Rottweiler
- Great Dane
- Poodle
- Yorkshire
- Tabby Cat (Yes, we wondered if the BarxBuddy would work with the cat
We simply waited until the dog would start the unwanted behavior, and then we’d turn on the BarxBuddy. In 14 out of 15 cases, the dog (and one cat) would immediately stop the behavior and back away. The only dog it didn’t work on was a Husky. (We know that it is deaf in one ear, so that may have had something to do with it.) We tested on another Husky and it worked just like all the rest.
